That works out to around $12–$13 an hour for live, expert-led instruction. Comparable group SAT classes routinely run $40–$120 an hour, and the big self-paced video courses — where students study completely alone — often cost more than this with no live teacher at all.

Why our approach sticks
Real understanding, not memorization: Instead of memorizing answers to hundreds of practice questions, our students learn to recognize the underlying form of each question, the common misconception it is designed to exploit, and the cleanest path to the right answer. Because the SAT reuses the same handful of patterns, learning to see them is what makes a score hold up under real test pressure.
Skills that transfer beyond the test: Instead of practicing only on test passages, our students learn to apply SAT reasoning to the world they already live in — even to the songs and videos they know by heart. When a skill works everywhere, it holds up on test day too, because it has become a genuine way of thinking rather than a trick tied to one kind of question.
The power of a small group: A small group does something one-on-one tutoring cannot — it gives students people to think alongside. In our classes, students explain their reasoning, defend their answers, and work through problems together as a crew. This matters more than it might seem, because when a student can clearly explain a concept to a peer, it is one of the surest signs that the information has truly become their own. Instead of passively absorbing a lesson, our students have to make their understanding real enough to share — and that is exactly the understanding that lasts.

Is this live or self-paced?
Fully live. Every class is taught in real time by an instructor — you're never left alone with a video library.
How big are the classes?
Small by design. The whole point is that your instructor knows you and your crew, not a sea of names.
Do we need both subjects?
Not at all. Take just Math, just Reading & Writing, or bundle both and save $49. Single-subject students get a complete, self-contained experience.
What if my student has never taken the SAT before?
Perfect timing. Class one starts with how the SAT actually differs from school tests and builds from there — no prior prep assumed.
When should we take the actual SAT?
The series finishes in mid-August, which sets students up well for the fall SAT. We'll talk test-day strategy in the final classes.
Will there be a practice test?
Yes — after the final class, students take an official full-length practice test on their own, with an optional review session to break down the results.
